All businesses thrive on competition. To assess how successful you are in the competition, you need to work on a curve. Finances can often be rising and dropping below the ideal. To get a better glance at just how much your firm’s attorneys are working, and consequently, how much of that revenue is going into their commissions, TimeSolv has a robust Revenue & Commissions reporting feature. Always arm yourself with the best software tools to gain greater insight into what is working and what isn’t working for your firm. This week’s Tip of the Week takes a look at our Revenue & Commissions report.

You can access the Revenue & Commissions report under the Reports screen and the ‘Performance’ section. This report will calculate the revenue percentage based on commissions, work per Timekeeper, Originating Timekeeper, and per Responsible Timekeeper.

By using our Revenue and Commissions report, your firm no longer needs to do any calculations of their own, as the report includes all the information you need. This is also the only report we have that will show how much each Timekeeper has brought in for a given time period. While other reports will show how much Time was billed out, this report will show you the firm’s receivables.
