PCLaw Pricing and Reviews vs. Alternatives and Competitors Software
PCLaw pricing, reviews, and features compared against top competitors.
PCLaw is one of the workhorse products offered by LexisNexis. As a desktop legacy system, it simply doesn't offer the flexibility and convenience of cloud-based software.
There are also several important features law firms need and desire from their billing and time system. The lack of a client portal means more phone calls to your office. Only having LEDES task codes available makes electronic billing a struggle. PCLaw can not offer auto-replenishment of Trust accounts or consolidated invoices. Their split billing is also simplistic.
PCLaw has been a sturdy, but limited, solution for many years, and law firms should think long and hard before investing in a legacy system whose best days are behind.

With TimeSolv it took about two days to do edits and get bills out for our attorneys instead of five to six days with Timeslips. I've received really good feedback from the attorneys...as well as our clients!

TimeSolv is an invaluable part of the daily process of running our law firm. I would give TimeSolv my highest recommendation, especially for any small to medium size firms looking for a quality and cost effective billing solution.
