Tip of the Week: TimeSync Web App and Your TimeSolv Login

TimeSolv’s desktop application, TimeSync, is a free application for Windows and Mac, designed to make it extremely easy for entering time and expenses. The app can be easily installed so that it sits right on your desktop, with all the functions you need for complete and accurate Time and Expense Entries. This week’s Tip of the Week looks at how to install and use our desktop app, and how to use it alongside your TimeSolv login.

What Is the TimeSync Web App?

TimeSync is a lightweight desktop companion to your TimeSolv account. Once installed, it lets timekeepers add time and expense entries from their desktop, with or without an internet connection, and sync those entries back to TimeSolv the next time the user signs in with their TimeSolv login.

How to Install TimeSync With Your TimeSolv Login

You will need to access the TimeSync install link from the Google Chrome browser to install the app. Click on the install icon in the browser’s address bar next to the favorites icon, and follow the onscreen instructions to install the app.

When the TimeSync app successfully installs, a shortcut will be created on your desktop. Use this shortcut to open the application and log in with your TimeSolv login credentials. The same TimeSolv.com login email and password you use for the web app will work here.

Tracking Time and Expenses Offline

Once the app is downloaded, it should allow you to start creating Time and Expense Entries offline and sync them to the web server once you are connected to the internet. Creating and syncing Time and Expense entries in the app is very similar to how the mobile app works.

A few quick reminders that come up often around the TimeSolv login.

• Your TimeSync sign-in is the same as your TimeSolv.com login. If you reset your password in TimeSolv, that change applies in TimeSync the next time you log in.
• If you accidentally type “timesolve login” in your browser, you are looking for the TimeSolv login. The product is spelled TimeSolv, with no trailing “e”.
