TimeSolv just rolled out a new product release featuring the ability to create multiple Sub-Task and Expense Codes using the same UTBMS code. This will help benefit those firms that want to be able to use their own internal codes that are then translated into specific UTBMS codes when generating LEDES invoices. All associated entries can be aggregated and charged against the same UTBMS code in a LEDES invoice.

To enter UTBMS codes, click either under Time>Settings>Task/Sub-Task Codes tab or Expense>Settings>Expense Codes tab.

You can add UTBMS codes to existing codes, or create new ones to add them to:

When creating new codes, TimeSolv Legal users will have the UTBMS field populated to be the same value as the Code field and can be customized as needed. These codes can even be copied by using the ‘Copy’ link next to the listed code.

These UTBMS Codes will apply to LEDES invoice generation where LEDES invoices will require the UTBMS code to be specified in the Sub-Task Codes associated with Time Entries, and the Expense Codes associated with Expense Entries.
